Vinted Shoppers Voice Displeasure Over Sizing Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a different size category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Updates
Earlier, the sizes had both one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, from Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she stated.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
